CSIRO Publishing is looking for copyeditors. We welcome early career researchers, who understand scientific journal articles and peer review, in the fields we publish. We are able to provide training in our copyediting requirements, bringing an extra skill set for them. Having copyediting experience is desirable but not essential. Benefits for early career researchers are that this work gets them involved with our journals, and exposures them regularly to scientific writing. More details here.

Postdoc British Antarctic Survey (BAS), UK, BAS is looking for a PDRA in Earth System Modeller to join our Ice Dynamics and Paleoclimate team. The postdoc will be joining our Ice Dynamics and Palaeoclimate team to help us to deliver new insights in the past changes in the carbon cycle that can be used to inform future climate projections. Postdoctoral position in modeling ocean-ice interactions We are seeking to hire a postdoctoral researcher to join a collaborative project at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) that will assess the potential for non-linearities in Antarctic Ice Sheet evolution associated with high-frequency ocean-ice interactions. NEW: Postdoc in Positive Tipping Points in Social-Ecological Systems

The EqualSea Lab, under the Direction of Prof. Sebastian Villasante, is working directly with international organisations government agencies, and other stakeholders to build an unprecedented collection of dataabout transformative changes towards ocean equity. The work consists in working with a network of global collaborators to investigate why, where and how tipping points and transformative changes occur.
