Weather & Climate Interactions – observations, theory, and modelling

The CLIVAR Climate Dynamics Panel, 5th CDP Annual workshop will be taking place 24-27 February at the Mantra Lorne near Melbourne Australia. 

The title of this year’s workshop is Weather & Climate Interactions – observations, theory, and modelling. The workshop is open to the whole community, and we will have sessions including the following topics:

  • Influence of small-scale atmospheric processes on weather and climate
  • Influence of small-scale ocean processes on weather and climate
  • Influence of small-scale land processes on weather and climate
  • Influence of climate change on weather and weather systems 
  • Bridging the gap between weather and climate modelling

Costs: There will be a registration fee for the workshop of around $300; the exact value is to be determined.

Limited travel funding may be available, particularly for early career researchers and those from developing countries.
