GENERAL EVENTS

CLEX Ocean Extremes Research Program workshop will be held on 29-30 August 2024 in Hobart.

 We will focus on scientific achievements of the Ocean Extremes program and explore career opportunities for Early Career Researchers (ECR) outside academia. We cordially invite you to attend or present your work, considering our three overarching research questions:

1. Marine heatwaves: How can we best model and predict marine heatwaves?
2. Mesoscale ocean processes: How do marine heatwaves interact with other climate extremes?
3. Biogeochemistry: What are the current and future roles of mesoscale physics and biogeochemistry in the climate system?
